I read in Muscle Bulletin a few months ago that Creatine Serum has no Creatine in it. If that’s the case, why are they still selling it?
Creatine Serum has been analysed for its Creatine content and found to be 95% DEFICIENT in all batches, this has caused trading standards to take legal action against the company and retailers. Retailers escaped being prosecuted by claiming they just sell the product, and didn’t know it was false, but with the information out there showing the product is false, they are now being prosecuted themselves, if they still sell it. Professor Roger Harris of university of Chichester (who pioneered the use of Creatine) measured what happened to blood levels of Creatine for a full eight hours following ingestion of Creatine Serum.
For the Creatine to get into your muscles, it needs to get into the blood stream first. While powdered Creatine led to a 315% rise in blood Creatine levels, there was no change following the use of Creatine Serum. Strangely, drinking water had the same effect on Creatine levels as Creatine Serum! Here’s what the research team say about Creatine Serum, “No increase in plasma Creatine occurred on ingestion of 5 ml of Creatine Serum”, adding, “it is very unlikely that even repeated Creatine Serum ingestion would have any effect upon the muscle content”. Although some people report that using Creatine Serum helps to improve their workouts, it seems that it is just a placebo effect or stimulants have been secretly added to the product to deceive people into believing that it works. It is amazing how many nutritionists and customers have been taken in, by what many are calling the biggest supplement scam of all time.
